These are a few sets of marketing ads that I have designed for different in-house events and contests.
This logo was designed for a new podcast that discusses adult autism. I worked with the client to create several different logo options with various fonts, styles and colors.
My team put together different seasonal series that markets across the country could use to sell to a local sponsor.
For each series, I designed several print and digital ad sizes as well as a spread that was published in Feast Magazine.
I have created several brochures, flyers and media kits for our sales team to use to sell new packages to clients. Here are a few of my favorites.
I design an end-of-the-summer newsletter for Camp Taum Sauk every year. This project is such a joy to work on each year because CTS has had a special place in my heart since 2005.
This logo was designed for an up-and-coming podcast about cocktails and related topics. I worked with the client to create several different logo options with various fonts, styles and colors.
This is one of my favorites project I have ever worked on. I designed a large handful of pages for the Spring/Summer 2020 edition of St. Louis Best Bridal Magazine, which my team was in charge of at the time.
I had so much fun laying out all of the pages while making sure to be consistent with the Best Bridal branding and magazine styling.
I designed custom business cards for a freelance client who wanted to improve her dog-sitting business. I had a mug made for her as well with the same design.
Of the many special sections I have designed for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, this is one of my favorites. My team put together the annual Nurses: The Heart of Health Care section that consisted of a cover page, introduction page, 4 sponsored content articles, 4 nurses features to go with each sponsored content article, and 6 pages of all of the nurse nominations. Here are a few samples of each.
Working at Brand Ave. Studios, we work with a variety of clients, many being grocery store chains. Here are two of my favorite grocery related projects.
I art directed two photo shoots for Dierbergs, a local St. Louis grocery store chain, then designed spreads with photos and content to go in the November and December issues of Feast Magazine.
I also designed colorful weekly print ads and e-blasts to promote the Simply Healthy with Stephanie series, sponsored by HyVee.
I designed this logo for a freelance client with an equine therapy program. The client had a few different visions, so I created different options with various fonts, styles and themes until we reached the final product.
I created this t-shirt design for a freelance client who was having a Grateful Dead festival themed bachelorette party. They had a banner and koozies made from the design as well.
For my senior project and show, I decided to brand a zoo. I designed a logo with different colors of animal silhouettes overlapping to create a fun and colorful feel.
I designed a large map that would stand up in the zoo. I used lighter shades of my original colors for most of the map, and used white for the animal symbols and type. I also added icons to make it more user-friendly for the zoo-goers.
I also made a folded up pamphlet version of the map so that people can carry them around in their pockets. This map has other information on it, like what exhibits and food are available as well.
I also designed direction signs that tell people how to get to each exhibit in the zoo. In order to get visitors more excited about each exhibit, I designed the signs to have faded illustrations of the animals that they can see at that particular exhibit.
To show some of the animals personality, I created posters that show zoo-goers a little bit about each animal. Along with showing their name and personality, I gave information about the particular breed they are. In the actual Murray Zoo, there would be multiple posters of the animals at each exhibit.
I constructed shopping bags for the gift shop, which have enlarged illustrations on them that are used in the Murray Zoo logo. I also made small and simple shopping bags with the logo on it for smaller gift shop items.
From time to time I enjoy getting away from the computer and working with my hands or a camera to create art in a different way.
These are some of my photographs that I have taken and drawings and paintings I have created.
